香工業總會年報 2020-21 FHKI ANNUAL REPORT 2020-21 9 8 The Government of Guangdong also published the provincial plan to achieve the 14 th Five-Year Plan earlier this year. It pushes forward the interconnected development of the GBA as a whole to become the international I&T hub. The provincial plan proposed detailed actions with clear targets to build the GBA into a manufacturing powerhouse with a modern industry structure, with great effort to co-ordinate economic integration among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. Besides, FHKI confirmed to set up the GBA Think Tank in January 2021, focusing on the latest policies and regulations that facilitate regional connectivity and unleash complementary advantages of the three places. GBA Think Tank plays an essential role in assisting FHKI to provide concrete suggestions to the governments and leverage on the network of the PRD Council to share the latest development opportunities with manufacturers in Mainland. At the end of 2020, ten ASEAN countries, along with China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand officially signed the RCEP agreement, forming the largest free trade zone in the world with a significant boost to the total trade volume across RCEP members. Casting as the manufacturing coordination hub in Pan-Asia, we look forward to Hong Kong formally joining the RCEP to strengthen our pivotal role in managing the regional manufacturing value chain and inject impetus into local producer services. In June 2020, FHKI and AMATA Corporation PCL, one of the leading industrial city developers in Thailand, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to develop the Hong Kong City at AMATA for members to develop local market. In the same month, FHKI and AMATA Corporation PCL jointly organised a seminar to provide relocation strategies for companies considering to expand their factories to Southeast Asia. Upkeeping Members' Services and Celebrating FHKI's Diamond Jubilee amid COVID-19 At the 60 th anniversary of FHKI, we proudly presented a series of celebration campaigns, including Striving and Transforming - The History of Hong Kong Industry exhibition, Industrialist Forum 2020: Propelling to the Next Normal, Made by Hong Kong – The Way Forward for HK Industries research project and the 60 th Anniversary Commemorative Album, aiming to commemorate the 60 years of history we walked together with members and outline the future for Hong Kong industries. The Striving and Transforming – The History of Hong Kong Industry exhibition at the Hong Kong Museum of History attracted nearly 25,000 visitors with a very enthusiastic response from the public. In April 2021, the Exhibition has been made available online allowing the public to take a trip down memory land and unfold the glorious history of Hong Kong's industry. 與香毗鄰的廣東省政府在今年初發布《廣東省國民經國民經濟和社會發展第十四個五年規劃和 2035 年遠景目標綱要》，將全力推動粵澳三地融合發展、打造粵澳大灣區國際科技創新中心，以及加快建設「製造強省」及現代產業體系等具體目標，實現粵澳經濟一體化。另外，工總在 2021 年 1 月落實成立「大灣區智庫」，重點研究有助大灣區互聯互通、發揮優勢的政策和法規，以助工總向兩地政府提供具體意見，並善用珠三角工業協會的網絡，向內地會員提供最新資訊。去年底，中央政府與日本、韓國、澳洲、新西蘭及東盟十國等正式簽署《區域全面經濟夥伴關係協定》，成為全球最大規模的自由貿易區，相信會對亞太地區的貿易總量有著提振作用。香應把握機遇盡快加入協定，鞏固區內製造業中樞的地位，帶動本地「生產性服務業」的發展。工總在 2020 年六月與泰國最具規模的工業園發展商之一安美德集團簽署合作備忘錄，研究設立「安美德香工業城」，助為有意發展當地市場的會員企業穿針引線。同月工總與安美德集團合辦研討會，為考慮將工廠遷到東南亞的企業提供搬遷策略。疫情無礙會務　同慶工總六十周年鑽禧去年適逢是工總成立六十周年的鑽禧會慶，年內我們舉辦了一系統的慶祝活動，括「工」不可沒 ─香工業傳奇展覽、「工業家論壇 2020 ：邁向後常態」、《香製造：香工業啟新章》研究報告和六十周年紀念專集，展示工總多年一直與工商業界風雨同路，引領業界前行，並為香工業籌劃未來。其中，在歷史博物館的「工」不可沒─香工業傳奇展覽吸引近 25,000 人次入場參觀，反應十分熱烈，而網上展覽也在今年四月份登場，讓公眾隨時重溫昔日香工業輝煌歷史。新冠肺炎疫情已反覆一年多，但無礙工總如常為會員提供各項專業服務，並因應疫情增加所需支援。去年疫情初期，香優質標誌局立即在防疫用品的上增加資源，為本地口罩生產商作出優質產品認證，至今已有 20 間本地廠家近百款口罩獲 Q 嘜認證。因應社交距離措施，秘書處亦助各個行業分組及委員會改以網上形式舉辦活動，積極維繫會員關係，更舉辦了不少與抗疫資助、新經濟模式和拓展新業務相關的研討會和分享會，與會員們互相扶持，共渡疫情難關。際此，香工業界在疫情下面對重重挑戰，仍然無礙一眾傑出及青年工業家在「新常態」下重新擬訂經策略，迎難而上。我們藉著「香青年工業家獎」勉勵更多年輕一代投身工業界，注入更多新動力。除此以外，我們鼓勵企業實踐綠色運理念，為社會發展注入綠色力量，最新一屆「中銀香企業環保領先大獎 2020 」再次打破紀錄，共吸引逾 800 間企業競逐獎項，參與企業合共完成多達 2,690 個環保項目，成績令人十分鼓舞。 Notwithstanding the impact brought by the pandemic, FHKI strives to maintain the provision of quality professional services for our members as usual and enhance our services in response to pandemic control. Last year, the Hong Kong Q-Mark Council allocated extra resources to the Q-mark certification services to local disposable face mask manufacturers, allowing the public to distinguish high quality and up-to-standard face masks. Nearly 100 product lines of face masks from 20 local manufacturers have received Q-Mark certification so far. In view of social distancing regulations, the Secretariat assists industry groups and committees to organise online activities to maintain close connections with members. Multiple online seminars and sharing sessions on anti-epidemic funds, new economy and business development were held to support members riding through the storm of COVID-19. Amid the pandemic and all the challenges from outside and within, the outstanding young industrialists in Hong Kong never ceased to amaze us how they map out quick-to-deploy business strategies under the new normal to build resilience and conquer adversity. Through the annual Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong, we aim to inspire the younger generation to develop their career in the industrial sector to succeed in the sterling work of veteran industrialists. Besides, FHKI encourages corporates to implement environmentally-conscious practices and inject a green momentum for the betterment of society. The BOCHK Corporate Environmental Leadership Awards 2020 attracted more than 800 participating corporates who completed 2690 environmental protection projects.
