26 75 FHKI ANNUAL REPORT 2020-21 74 Environmental Industries Council The Council organised and participated in various activities and proactively advocated on the Government's green policy for the environmental industry. August 2020 - FHKI was appointed to coordinate for the Hong Kong Pavilion in IE Expo China 2020 in Shanghai. The Hong Kong Pavilion has allied 12 Hong Kong environmental companies to showcase a wide range of environmental technologies, services and products. Considering the situation of COVID-19, the Expo had been postponed multiple times. Fortunately, it was able to be held eventually with a satisfactory amount of visitors. October 2020 - FHKI Chairman and the Council members met Mr Wong Kam-sing, Secretary for Environment, to discuss the city's environmental po l i c i e s . FHK I s t a u n c h l y s uppo r t s t h e Government's Municipal Solid Waste Charging Policy to promote waste separation and recycling, thereby enhancing the local recycling value chain. November 2020 - FHKI was as appointed as the implementation agent of the Hong Kong Pavilion of the Eco Expo Asia 2020, which has migrated online this year. FHKI set up the online exhibition platform for 19 exhibitors, organised three webinars and invited exhibitors from the Pavilion to share their latest business progress in the environmental industry. Janua r y 2021 - The Counc i l s i gned t he memorandum of understanding on the "Industry Ready Programme" with CityU for a three-year term. The programme will provide internship opportunities to CityU undergraduates in the environmental industry. 環境工業協會 協會致力為業界舉辦及參與各類型的環保活動， 並積極就政府環保政策為業界發聲。 2020 年 8 月 — 工總獲環保署委任為中國上海環博 會 2020 「香 館」的統籌機構，本年共有 12 間香 環保企業參展，在疫情下展示本 最新的環保 技術、服務及產品，開拓內地市場。雖然活動因 疫情多次延期，最終仍能成功舉辦，參觀香 館 的人流理想。 2020 年 10 月 — 工總主席葉中賢博士與協會一同 拜訪環境局黃錦星局長，討論本 環保政策。工 總致力支持 府推行 市固體廢物收費，鼓勵市 民做好廢物分類回收，完善本地回收產業鏈。 2020 年 11 月 — 工總繼續獲委任為「國際環保博覽」 香 館的統籌機構，共招募 19 位參展商。因應疫 情持續，第十五屆「國際環保博覽」由實體展覽移 師網上，工總除協助香 館設立網頁，亦舉辦了 三場網絡研討會，邀請參展商分享環境業近況。 2021 年 1 月 — 協會與香 城市大學簽署三年 「 Industry Ready Programme 」諒解備忘錄，為城 大學生提供環保業實習機會。 HIGHLIGHTS OF INDUSTRY GROUPS AND COUNCILS 工業分組及協會工作概要 香 工業總會年報 2020-21 28 Spectacles and Optical Products Over the past year, the Group continued to improve quality and design by using advanced technology and turning to e-commerce and social media marketing to stimulate growth in domestic and overseas markets. The Group expects the industry to enhance its competitiveness actively and maintain the position as the preferred manufacturing supplier for global brands. 眼鏡及光學製品 分組於過去一年繼續推動業界採用先進技術以提 升產品質素及設計水平，並把目光投向電子商貿 及社交媒體 銷，以發展本地及海外市場。分組 期望業界積極提升競爭力，保持全球知名品牌首 選製造商的地位。 29 Fur and Leather Garments The Group continued to support manufacturers in keeping abreast of the latest fur fashions and dyeing techniques. The industry has been committed to developing new designs to transform fur from cold climate utility products into fashion items and tapping into emerging markets like Russia, South Korea, Mainland China and Central and Eastern Europe to maintain Hong Kong's position as the source of high- quality fur apparel. 毛皮及皮革成衣 分組持續推動業界了解最新毛皮服裝潮流及毛皮 染色技術，鼓勵業界開發新設計，令毛皮從禦寒 衣物蛻變成 市時尚服飾，打進俄羅斯、韓國、 中國內地以及中東歐等新興市場。我們期望業界 繼續保持優質毛皮服飾採購地的地位。 30 Hong Kong Innovation and Creative Industries Council To support local innovation and creative industries, the Council organised webinars to share with members the latest market information in coping with the "new normal" under the pandemic. May 2020 - Held the "Webinar on Digital Marketing" to share with members the up- to-trend digital marketing tactics during the COVID-19 pandemic. Guest speakers shared the promotion strategies, tools, as well as tips on identifying the right investors and applying Government's funding schemes. December 2020 - Held "GOT the Point: The Midas Touch on Tech x Business" webinar which was hosted by the Council Vice-chairman Mr Willy Lai and three ExCom members. Illustrated with real-life applications on EdTech and game industries, the guest speakers shared insights on how entrepreneurs could make good use of the latest technologies and innovative platforms to drive sales. 香港創新及創意工業協會 為支持本地創新及創意產業的發展，協會在本年 度透過舉辦網路研討會，提供最新市場資訊助業 界適應疫情新常態。 2020 年 5 月 — 舉辦「『疫』市數碼轉型全方位」網 路研討會，由三位專家講解數碼 銷的新趨勢、 推廣要訣、各項工具推介，以及中小企尋找投資 及申請政府資助計劃的攻略等。 2020 年 12 月 — 舉辦「創機匯點：點『學』成金」 網絡研討會，由協會副主席賴志偉及三位執委會 成員，以實際教育及遊戲產業 運例子，分享創 業家如何將新科技及創意平台應用到業務上並促 進銷售。
