October 2020 - Visited "DP2 Space" to understand from the founder how to enhance the playfulness of the venue by using the works of local designers and integrating retail, conference and exhibition purposes into the venue space. November 2020 - Visited "MWPDC Studio", a multi-purpose venue developed by the Group's Vice-chairman Mr Jimi Kwok as a professional kitchen, photo-shooting studio, woodcraft workshop and yoga venue at the same time. Group members also exchanged ideas on new business philosophy and collaboration projects. Hong Kong Automation Technology Council In the past year, the Council organised a series of online technical seminars to share the latest automation technologies with practitioners. May 2020 - Held a webinar on "Fighting COVID-19 with Robotics Technology". Two robotic experts shared how automated technology can be applied in different industries to get through the pandemic. June 2020 - Held a webinar on "Startups in Times of the Economic New Normal". Two startups co-founders shared their experiences on how technology can be applied to enhance logistics under the pandemic, as well as how digital marketing solutions were adopted to help expand client base in a short span of time. July 2020 - Held a webinar on "Towards Software- defined Manufacturing". An expert on industrial cyber-physical systems was invited to share on the application of "Software-defined Manufacturing" in industrial automation. August 2020 - Held a webinar on "Industrial Internet of Things and Application of Smart Energy Management". Expert from engineering service was invited to share real-life examples of the applications of IIoT and energy management systems in advanced industries. September 2020 - Held a webinar on "AI Related Ownership and Technology Licensing Legal Issues". Two solicitors and notaries shared the IP and legal issues of AI inventions from perspectives of inventorship, ownership and transferability, and infringement with real-life case studies. 設計 分組組織拜訪多個創意空間，與會員交流疫情「新 常態」下的 商心得，及如何將好設計融入到工 業中。 2020 年 10 月 ─ 參觀「 DP2 創 物 間」，由創 辦人介紹如何利用本地設計師的作品為場地添加 趣味，同時靈活運用場地空間，兼作零售、會議 及展覽之用。 2020 年 11 月 ─ 參觀「金木影舞廚樂坊」，由分組 副主席郭岳榮簡介場地設計概念，將工廠大廈打 造成集專業廚房、攝影場景、木工房及 伽場地 於一身的空間；分組成員亦互相交流 商新理念 和合作計劃。 香港自動化科技協會 過去一年，協會舉辦網上活動與會員分享業界最 先進的自動化科技。 2020 年 5 月 ─ 舉辦「抗疫科技熱潮：『防疫機器 人』上線」網絡研討會，由兩位機器人專家與會員 分享如何在不同行業應用防疫機器人， 過疫情 的最嚴竣時期。 2020 年 6 月 ─ 舉辦「初創蛻變：迎接經濟新常態」 網絡研討會，由兩位初創公司創辦人分享公司於 疫情期間如何以科技革新物流，以及引入數碼 銷技術在短時間內建立客戶群。 2020 年 7 月 ─ 舉辦「邁向軟件定義製造之路」網 絡研討會，邀得工業物理信息系統專家與會員分 享軟件定義技術的工業自動化應用。 2020 年 8 月 ─ 舉辦「工業物聯網及能源管理系統 應用」網絡研討會，由工程服務專家分享工業物 聯網及智能能源管理系統在先進工業上的應用案 例。 2020 年 9 月 ─ 舉辦「有關人工智能的產權及技術 許可的法律問題」技術研討會，由兩位律師透過 實際例子，從發明人資格、權利歸屬和轉讓、侵 權三個方向去講解研發人工智能時需要考慮的產 權及法律問題。 HIGHLIGHTS OF INDUSTRY GROUPS AND COUNCILS 工業分組及協會工作概要
