25 73 FHKI ANNUAL REPORT 2020-21 72 21 Transport and Logistics Services Council The Council maintains close contact with Government departments and pays attention to the latest policies and industrial facilities to express opinions for the industry. June 2020 - Ahead of the Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point's opening to the public, the Council conducted a site visit to the cross-boundary facilities, such as the Customs Examination Building and the Goods Vehicle Kiosks, and trial-run the Goods Vehicle customs clearance route. December 2020 - Invited by the Transport Department, the Council members experienced the Tuen Mun-Chek Lap Kok Link, a strategic link connecting the Northwest New Territories to North Lantau, the Hong Kong International Airport and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Port. In the future, the industry will only need 10 minutes to travel between southern Tuen Mun and the Hong Kong International Airport. 運輸與物流業協會 協會與政府部門長期保持密切聯繫，留意香 運 輸與物流業的最新政策及行業設施，為業界表達 意見。 2020 年 6 月 — 率先於香園圍邊境管制站啟用前實 地考察，參觀用作跨境貨運的設施， 括海關出 入境貨物檢查大樓及貨車出入境檢查亭，以及試 行貨車清關路線。 2020 年 12 月 — 協會應運輸署邀請，於屯門至赤 角連接路正式通車前到場試路，該路段是連接 新界西北和北大嶼山、香 國際機場及 珠澳大 橋香 口岸的策略性通道，日後業界來往屯門南 與機場僅需 10 分鐘的車程。 20 Hong Kong Trade Services Council The Council aims to promote the opening up of trade platforms and interaction amongst enterprises, enhance the competitiveness of member companies, and strengthen Hong Kong's strategic position as an international trading hub. Looking ahead, the Council will encourage the industry to explore new markets and seize business opportunities brought by the GBA development and the Belt-and-Road Initiative. 香港貿易服務業協會 協會旨在促進各貿易平台對外開放及企業間的相 互交流，不斷提升會員企業競爭優勢，鞏固本 國際貿易樞紐地位。展望未來，協會將會鼓勵業 界把握大灣區及「一帶一路」所帶來的機遇，尋求 新需求及新商機。 HIGHLIGHTS OF INDUSTRY GROUPS AND COUNCILS 工業分組及協會工作概要 香 工業總會年報 2020-21 Hong Kong Information Technology Council Hong Kong has a robust ICT infrastructure and is consistently ranked among the best in the world in terms of digital competitiveness. As the industry representative, the Council urges the Government to strengthen support of funding, infrastructure, international co-operation and talent development to promote Hong Kong's information technology and communication industry. June 2020 - The online International Forum "Trends and Opportunities of Big Data Analytics and AI in the Greater Bay Area" attracted over 140 IT professionals to join. Through the Forum, Council members and IT professionals learnt about big data and AI applications in renowned companies. They gained knowledge on IT industrial development opportunities in the GBA. The Forum is funded by the "Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme" of the HKSAR Government. March 2021 - the Council organised the "Safe and Secure – Webinar on using instant messaging and social media apps properly". Ms Ada Chung, Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data and Mr Nick Chan, Honorary Legal Advisor of FHKI and Partner of Squire Patton Boggs were invited to share and discuss how to secure personal privacy when using instant messaging and social media apps. 香港資訊科技業協會 香 的資訊及通訊科技基建完善，數碼化競爭力 一直在全球名列前茅。協會代表業界促請政府 推出撥款資助、基建、國際合作及人才培育的支 援，以推動資訊及通訊科技業發展。 2020 年 6 月 — 舉辦「大數據分析及人工智能於大 灣區的發展趨勢與機遇」網絡論壇，吸引超過 140 位本地資訊科技行業人士參加，讓會員及行業人 士從著名企業的大數據分析和人工智能應用中學 習，認識大灣區的科技行業的發展機會。論壇由 香 特區政府的「專業服務協進支援計劃」撥款資 助。 2021 年 3 月 — 舉辦「用得安心 – 正確使用通訊軟 件及社交媒體」網絡研討會，邀請個人資料私隱 專員鍾麗玲女士及香 工業總會名譽法律顧問及 Squire Patton Boggs 國際律師事務所合夥人陳曉 峰律師分享及討論如何正確使用通訊軟件及社交 媒體，保障個人私隱。 22 Hong Kong Watch and Clock Council The Council helps members better understand the international and local watch and clock business environment and plan for a longer-term business strategy. In March 2021, the Council organised the "Chinese New Year Luncheon Gathering" to celebrate the new year with members and pray for a better year ahead. 香港鐘表工業協會 協會致力為會員企業了解國際及本地鐘表業的 商環境，助他們重整長遠的 商策略。協會在 2021 年 3 月舉辦新年午餐聚會，與會員慶祝農曆 新年，並寄望新一年各範疇均得以改善。
