September 2020 - Group 12 (Knit garments and other knit made-up goods) jointly organised the webinar on "Sustainable Technologies on Textile and Fiber" with Nano and Advanced Materials Institute. The speakers introduced the latest material technology for clothing and knitted made-up home accessories from NAMI, which helps the industry enhance its product lines and variety. March 2021 - Group 3 (Dyeing and Finishing) organised the webinar on "Exploration of Applying Robotics and AI in the Textiles and Garments Industry". The speakers from Hong Kong Applied Science And Technology Research Institute shared insights on how robotics and AI could be introduced to enable digital transformation in the textiles and garments industry to enhance operational efficiency. 成衣、紡織品、鞋履、袋及 附屬用品分組 過去一年，成衣、紡織品、鞋履、袋及附屬用品 行業面對成本壓力、原材料價格波動及疫情所帶 來的挑戰，各分組為會員舉辦網絡研討會，尋求 提升 運效率及競爭優勢的方案。 2020 年 9 月 — 第 12 分組（針織成衣及其他針織製 成品）與納米及先進材料研發院（ NAMI ）合辦「紡 織品和纖維的可持續技術」網絡研討會， NAMI 介 紹在服裝和家用紡織品上的最新技術，助紡織工 業豐富其產品線和產品組合。 2021 年 3 月 — 第 3 分組（染色及整理）舉辦「探索 紡織服裝行業應用機器人技術和人工智能」網絡 研討會，邀請香 應用科技研究院（ ASTRI ）的專 家解說如何以機器人技術和人工智能，實現紡織 服裝行業的數字化轉型，提升 運效率。 HIGHLIGHTS OF INDUSTRY GROUPS AND COUNCILS 工業分組及協會工作概要 香 工業總會年報 2020-21 Hong Kong Electrical Product Council To enhance enterprises' understanding of the application of funding schemes, the Council, Hong Kong Electrical Appliance Industries Association and Hong Kong Opto-Mechatronics Industry Association jointly organised a webinar on "Saving Money in Epidemic: Q&A and Successful Cases Sharing on Government's Funding Schemes" in September 2020. Experts on Government Funding Schemes and SMEs who successfully applied were invited to explain the details and share their experiences with our members. Hong Kong Electronics Industry Council June 2020 - The Council organised the meeting with Mr Alfred Sit and Dr David Chung, Secretary and Under Secretary for Innovation and Technology, to exchange views on the microelectronics industry and I&T development directions in Hong Kong. July 2020 - The Council Vice-Chairman Mr Christopher Tse and ExCom member Andrew Young were invited to be the moderator and guest speaker for the "Tech Trends Symposium 2020 – The Future of Intelligent Connectivity" organised by Hong Kong Trade Development Council. They shared opinions and views on the trends of the 5G application in the electronics industry. 香港電氣製品協會 為了讓企業進一步了解各項基金的申請程序，協 會聯同香 電器業協會及香 光機電行業協會於 2020 年 9 月合辦「疫境慳錢心得：政府資助計劃 疑難排解及成功案例分享」網絡研討會，邀請政 府基金申請專家及成功申請的中小企向會員詳細 講解及分享。 香港電子業總會 2020 年 6 月 — 與創新及科技局薛永恒局長及副局 長鍾偉 博士會面交流，分享香 微電子業務以 及創科發展的方向。 2020 年 7 月 — 分組副主席謝鴻強及執委楊孟璋獲 香 貿易發展局邀請，分別擔任「科技前瞻研討 會 2020 – 連繫智慧未來」主持及演講嘉賓，分享 5G 在電子行業上的應用趨勢。
