51 FHKI ANNUAL REPORT 2020-21 50 FHKI's Certification Division provides professional services for issuing various origin certificates for the industry, which has been well-received by our member companies. This year, we launched the advanced electronic application platform ("CRNet") for users to apply for "Certificate of Origin - Re-export", "Certificate of Origin - Without Transit/With Transhipment" and "Certification of Document" online, thereby shortening the application time and increasing service efficiency in a bid to facilitate business operations. FHKI is authorised by the HKSAR Government to issue different Certificates of Origin under the Protection of Non-Government Certificates of Origin Ordinance (Cap. 324 of the Laws of Hong Kong). The Certification Division operates offices in Mong Kok, Central and Cheung Sha Wan, and assigns experienced staff to provide reliable, timely and efficient certification services of: • Certificates of Hong Kong Origin (including CEPA), Certificate of Processing, Certificate of Origin - Re-export, Certificate of Origin – Transhipment and Generalised Preference Certificate; • Certification of trade documents required by traders and overseas customs authorities; • Consulate Legalisation; and • Paper-to-electronic conversion for Import/Export Trade Declaration. 工總簽證科多年來為業界提供簽發各類來源證的 專業服務，深受各會員支持。本會簽證科於本年 度推出「轉口證—網上通」電子系統（「 CRNet 」）， 讓企業可以通過網上系統進行轉口產地來源證、 轉載產地來源證及商事證明的申請，減省處理時 間，提升服務效率，進一步便利 商。 工總獲特區政府授權簽發各類產地來源證，所簽 發證書均受《非政府產地來源證保障條例》（香 法 例第 324 章）保障。簽證科分別於旺角、中環及長 沙灣設有辦事處，由經驗豐富的專人提供可信、 快捷、高效的服務： • 簽發香 產地來源證（ 括零關稅原產地證 書）、加工證、轉口來源證、轉載來源證及普 及特惠稅證； • 貿易文件的商事證明服務，以符合入口商和外 地海關的清關要求； • 代辦領事認證；及 • 進出口報關的電子資料轉換。 ENHANCING COMPETITIVENESS 提升競爭力 The "Hong Kong D-Mark Design Certification Scheme" was launched in 2015 by the Design Council of Hong Kong ("DCHK") under the auspices of FHKI. The D-Mark recognises outstanding enterprises for applying design into their businesses and offering respect and protection to design products. The Scheme also promotes investment to develop the design industry and collaboration amongst local and overseas designers. As of March 2021, more than 80 enterprises across toys, jewellery, interior design, retail and household goods industries were certificated by D-Mark with wide recognition from industry practitioners. Established by FHKI in 1968, the Design Council of Hong Kong is the longest-running non-profit organisation in Hong Kong to promote the advancement of the design industry across Hong Kong and the Mainland. The Council strives to raise the bar of excellence on design standard and enhance the adoption of quality design across industrial and commercial sectors in Hong Kong to add value to products, services, and brands. 工總轄下的香 設計委員會於 2015 年推出「香 D 嘜認證計劃」，以表揚積極應用設計、尊重及保 護設計成果的優秀企業，並鼓勵投資推動設計行 業及促進香 與國內外設計師合作。截至 2021 年 3 月份，超過 80 多間企業榮獲「 D 嘜」認證，分別 來自玩具、珠寶、室內設計、零售服務及傢俱等 多個行業，深得業界認同。 工總於 1968 年成立香 設計委員會，是香 在推 廣設計方面歷史最悠久的非牟利組織，致力促進 本地及國內設計行業的發展，提升產品設計水平 和推廣工商業界應用設計，為產品、服務及品牌 增值。 Hong Kong D-Mark Design Certification 香港 D 嘜認證 Trade Certifications and Declarations 商貿簽證及報關 Intellectual property ("IP") protection is of utmost importance to the long- term development of enterprises and startups. Hence, The Intellectual Property Centre under FHKI strives to promote the protection of IPs and offer practical support to enterprises on this front. The Centre has over 30 years of professional experience in providing IP rights registration and protection services for Hong Kong and Mainland China enterprises. The service offerings include trademark registrations, patent registrations and design registrations in over 100 countries and regions, and copyright depository and registration services. In the past year, the Centre worked closely with HKTDC, the Intellectual Property Department and the Trade and Industry Department ("TID") to support and participate in IP-related events to provide professional services, including: • July 2020 - Participated in the "HKTDC Entrepreneur Day: Tapping the Mainland Market – From Strategy to Practical Issues" ; • August 2020 - Invited by HKTDC to share IP protection strategies in the webinar "Doing Business in Mainland China - Protecting your Brands and Copyrights", covering topics of "Tapping the Mainland Market" and "Patent Invalidation in China" to deepen the industry's understanding of the IP development and protection strategies in PRC market; • December 2020 - Assisted HKTDC in organising "Business of IP Asia Forum", and also participated in the first "Guangdong-Hong Kong- Macao Greater Bay Area Intellectual Property Trade EXPO" to promote the IP services of the Centre; • Acted as the IP consultant of HKTDC and TID to assist local enterprises in discovering and protecting IP; • Cooperated with the Hong Kong Design Centre to provide consulting services and IP solutions to startup companies. 保護知識產權對傳統及初創企業的長遠發展非常 重要，因此工總轄下知識產權中心致力推廣保護 知識產權的重要性，並為企業提供實務協助。中 心擁有超過 30 年專業服務經驗，為香 及內地企 業提供知識產權註冊及保護服務， 括：代理超 過 100 個國家或地區的商標註冊、專利申請、外觀 設計註冊，以及版權的儲存和登記。本年度中心 與香 貿易發展局（「貿發局」）、知識產權署、工 業貿易署等緊密合作，參與多項與知識產權相關 活動及提供專業服務， 括： • 2020 年 7 月 — 與貿發局合作，參與其創業日 的「初創內銷要掌握的『虛』 + 『實』研討會」； • 2020 年 8 月 — 應貿發局邀請在「保障品牌與 版權　把握內銷市場商機」研討會上，分享知 識產權的保護策略。研討會分別以「初創內銷」 及「中國的專利無效宣告」為題，講述國內的 知識產權最新發展，加深業界了解國內行情和 保護策略； • 2020 年 12 月 — 協助貿發局舉辦「亞洲知識產 權 商論壇」，更積極參與首度舉行的「粵 澳大灣區知識產權交易博覽會」，宣傳本中心 的專業服務； • 擔任貿發局及工業貿易署的知識產權顧問，協 助本地企業發掘和保護知識產權； • 與香 設計中心合作，向初創企業提供諮詢服 務及提供知識產權的解決方案。 香 工業總會年報 2020-21 Intellectual Property Centre 知識產權中心
