ENHANCING COMPETITIVENESS 提升 競爭力 OPERATIONAL REVIEW 工作回顧 FHKI ANNUAL REPORT 2020-21 46 Hong Kong Startup Council Established in 2016, Hong Kong Startup Council is devoted to bridging the gap between startups, industrialists, businesses and investors, in an effort to commercialise innovative ideas into industry-driven solutions and groom their business network. Since its establishment, the Council organised four cohorts of STARS Programme with different industry themes, being the flagship startup support programme under the auspices of FHKI. Besides, the Council works closely with public organisations, investment communities and institutions to foster the development of the local startup ecosystem. Education Committee Established in 2020, the Education Committee aims to strengthen communications and collaborations with educational institutions; and provide professional and constructive responses to education policies related to the industries for the betterment of industrial development in the long run. The Committee serves as the bridge between the industrial sector and the education sector. By maintaining a close working relationship with local institutions, the Committee actively participates in student activities to share views and foster understanding towards Hong Kong industries. The Sage Established in 2013, the Sage aims to strengthen ties with former General Committee members. Under the leadership of President Dr KC Yip, members actively participated in various FHKI activities, including the monthly General Committee dinners. Committee on Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility Established in 2011, the Committee on Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR Committee") aims to advocate and encourage members to integrate CSR into their operations and business strategies. Since 2013, the CSR Committee organised the annual "Industry Cares Recognition Scheme" to recognise CSR efforts of outstanding enterprises. Besides, the CSR Committee supports and participates in various social enterprise activities in town, such as "Corporate Social Responsibility Awards" and "Social Enterprise Summit". Young Executive Council Established in 2011 for young industrialists aged 45 or below, Young Executive Council ("YEC") aims to strengthen FHKI's relationships with young industrial executives, engage them in FHKI's affairs and enhance their awareness of topical issues of the industrial sector. YEC actively promotes succession in the industries and encourages the younger industrialists to bring innovative ideas to businesses. In this year, YEC has around 120 young members from a wide spectrum of industries. Various business and recreation activities were held for YEC members with other young business executive communities in Hong Kong to expand their network. 香港初創企業協會 於 2016 年成立，旨在發揮連結作用，匯集初創企 業、工業家、企業及投資 。協會致力協助本地 初創把創新意念轉化成產品或服務，並為初創拓 展人脈。自成立以來，協會舉辦四屆不同行業主 題的「初創飛昇計劃」，是工總的旗艦初創企業項 目。協會與多個公 機構、投資 社群及院校等 合作，完善本地初創生態圈。 教育委員會 於 2020 年成立，旨在加強與教育院校的溝通與合 作，並了解業界對工業相關教育政策的意見，提 出專業和具建設性的回應，以支持工業界長遠發 展。教育委員會擔當工業界與學界之間的重要橋 樑，與本地教育院校保持密切聯繫，積極在學界 活動分享香 工業概況，加深學界對行業的了解。 聚賢會 於 2013 年成立，旨在加強工總卸任理事之間的聯 繫。在會長葉傑全博士的領導下，會員積極參與 工總活動，例如每月一次的理事會晚宴，分享他 們寶貴的 商經驗和網絡。 促進企業社會責任委員會 於 2011 年成立，旨在提倡及鼓勵會員推行企業社 會責任，將理念融入 運策略及管理措施中。委 員會自 2013 年 每年舉辦「工業獻愛心」表揚計 劃以嘉許履行企業社會責任的優秀企業，並一向 積極支持及參與多項社企活動， 括「企業社會 責任大獎」及「社企民間高峰會」等。 青年委員會 青年委員會（「青委會」）在 2011 年成立，成員為 45 歲或以下的工業家，旨在加強工總與年輕一代工 業家的溝通，為他們提供參與工總會務的平台， 並鼓勵他們關注工業議題。該會積極推動工業傳 承，並鼓勵新一代工業家突破傳統思維，敢於創 新。 年內，青委會共有約 120 名來自不同行業背景的 年輕會員，並積極與其他本地商界青年團體及組 織交流，舉辦商務及運動聯誼活動，拓闊 商網 絡。 PROMOTING THE ADVANCEMENT OF HONG KONG INDUSTRIES 推動工業發展
