43 FHKI ANNUAL REPORT 2020-21 42 香 工業總會年報 2020-21 扶植初創 成就年青工業家 工總鼓勵年輕人投身工業界,從而推動「工業年 輕化」。工總轄下的香 初創企業協會透過會內龐 大的工商業網絡及專業支援服務,助更多初創企 業把創新意念及先進科技工業化,繼而完善本 初創生態系統。協會至今舉辦四屆「初創飛昇計 劃」,招募不同行業的初創企業,接受工業家的專 業指導,加快產品及企業發展的進程。工總亦 運位於觀塘的「 INDEX 工創空間」,為政府「青年 共享空間計劃」項目之一,由新鴻基地產發展有 限公司贊助場地,以推動年輕工業家協作創新。 第三屆「初創飛昇計劃」 (2019 年 8 月至 2020 年 5 月 ) 由 豐贊助的第三屆「初創飛昇計劃」以玩具及電 子業為主題,經歷約半年推展, 括評審日、配 對日、商務指導等,於 2020 年 5 月圓滿結束。壓 軸活動 Demo Fest 首度移師網上舉行,透過虛擬 展覽向公眾介紹一眾星級初創的創新方案,兩星 期內吸引逾四萬人次瀏覽。 第四屆「初創飛昇計劃」 (2020 年 6 月至 2021 年 4 月 ) 計劃以食品科技為主題,並獲花旗銀行贊助,第 四屆「初創飛昇計劃」於 2020 年 6 月展開,招募 11 家星級初創,涵蓋廚餘管理、環保 裝、細胞 培植肉等各範疇,在計劃下通過培訓工作坊、創 業指導、商業配對等活動,與工業家共同研發高 增值的創新方案。計劃配對日於 2020 年 11 月假 「 INDEX 工創空間」舉行,邀得多家食品企業與初 創進行配對,推動食品工業邁向更創新的未來。 Cultivating Young Industrialists through Entrepreneurship With the mission to "rejuvenate Hong Kong industries", FHKI strives to inspire young people to build their career in the industrial sector. Under the auspices of FHKI, Hong Kong Startup Council is devoted to empowering the fledgling startup ecosystem in Hong Kong by supporting startups to turn ground-breaking ideas and advanced technologies into industrial applications with our extensive business network and professional services. Until now, the Council has organised four cohorts of STARS Programme that enables fast-growing startups in selected industries to take on an accelerated path of product and business development under the mentorship of veteran industrialists. Besides, FHKI operates the INDEX, a co-working space under the Government's "Space Sharing Scheme for Youth", with Sun Hung Kai Properties as the venue sponsor, to foster co- creation among young entrepreneurs in our industries. The 3 rd STARS Programme (August 2019 to May 2020) Sponsored by HSBC Hong Kong, the 3 rd STARS Programme features innovative solutions in the toy and electronics industries. Following Vetting Day, Matching Day and designated mentoring sessions, the Programme was successfully concluded in May 2020. The finale event Demo Fest showcasing trailblazing business ideas was launched virtually for the first time, appealing to 40,000 visitors over 2 weeks. The 4 th STARS Programme (June 2020 to April 2021) Sponsored by Citibank Hong Kong, the 4 th STARS Programme was kickstarted in June 2020, with "Food Tech" as the cohort theme. 11 startups were recruited to the programme, covering technologies from waste management, eco-packaging, cell cultivated meat, etc. Through upskilling workshops, mentorship and business matching, the startups were paired up with industrialists to hatch high value-added ideas. The Matching Day was successfully held in November 2020 at INDEX, with several renowned food enterprises eager to join hands with the startups to co-create best-of- breed products and services for the industry. Backing Entrepreneurship Initiatives in Town to Inject Fresh Impetus to the Industry On the side, FHKI commits itself to support entrepreneurship initiatives organised by education institutions in Hong Kong. In March 2021, FHKI became the strategic partner of the three-year "HK Tech 300" programme of the CityU to share the latest industry trends and offer business advices to participating startups. Members of FHKI's Education Committee and Hong Kong Startup Council took part in the startup vetting panel. FHKI envisions this Programme to gather visionary industrialists, young scholars and graduates to translate scientific research achievements and advanced technologies into industrial applications, thereby grooming tech startups into impactful ventures for our future economy. Partnering with the Education Sector to Bulk up Local Industrial Talent Pool A sufficient talent pool is instrumental for the long-term and sustainable development of Hong Kong's industries. As such, FHKI is devoted to promote vocational and professional education and training by teaming up with local tertiary institutions. By means of enhancing curriculum design and arranging internship opportunities, FHKI strives to foster our young students' knowledge on modern industries and help them pick up the skills needed in the manufacturing industry. 支持創新創業計劃為工業界添新血 此外,工總亦積極支持學界的創業培育計劃。在 2021 年 3 月,工總擔任了香 城巿大學為期三年 的「 HK Tech 300 」創業計劃的策略夥伴,為參與 計劃的初創企業分享工業界的現況及提供創業指 導,轄下的教育委員會及香 初創企業協會均派 出代表參與初創的遴選工作。工總期望可透過此 計劃,連繫工業家與充滿抱負的年輕學 及畢業 生,將更多科研成果及前沿技術應用在新興工業 上,助創科初創茁壯成長,成為未來的經濟動力。 產學合作 擴大本地工業人才庫 要讓香 工業長遠及可持續發展,擴大本地人才 庫尤其重要。工總致力推廣職業專才教育,與本 地大專院校緊密合作,特別是透過課程設計及安 排實習計劃,以提升年青人對新興工業的認識及 掌握工作技能,栽培工業界生力軍。 PROMOTING THE ADVANCEMENT OF HONG KONG INDUSTRIES 推動工業發展 • 2020 年 9 月 — 工總與職業訓練局及國藥科技 股份有限公司簽署合作備忘錄,合辦「智能製 造專業培訓課程(個人防護裝備行業)」; • 2020 年 9 月 — 工總與香 城市大學合辦「虛 擬工業日」,向在校及畢業生闡述工業未來發 展及人才需求。工總多名代表出席研討會,就 新興工業的發展和機遇,以及扶助初創等議題 分享觀點,為城大學生開啟踏上「工業之路」 的大門。活動共吸引線上線下逾三百名參加 ; • 2020 年 11 月 — 工總與香 城市大學合作開辦 全新的「環球精研與科創課程」,培育新一代 知識、實踐兼備的科創工業人才; • September 2020 - FHKI signed an MOU with Vocational Training Council and Sinopharm Tech Holdings Limited to launch the "Smart Manufacturing Training Programme for Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Industry"; • September 2020 - FHKI and CityU co-organised the "Virtual Industrial Day" to illustrate the future development and talent demand in the industries. Representatives of FHKI were invited to share their views on the development of emerging industries and nurturing startups at the seminar. More than 300 participants were recorded across online and offline channels; • November 2020 - FHKI partnered with CityU to launch the "Global Research Enrichment and Technopreneurship Programme" to nurture tech-savvy industrial talents with a balanced exposure to both academic knowledge and industrial practices;
