41 Promoting the Advancement of Hong Kong Industries 推動工業發展 FHKI ANNUAL REPORT 2020-21 40 香 工業總會年報 2020-21 • 2020 年 11 月 ─ 創新及科技發展委員會獲邀出 席由香 應用科技研究院舉辦的 IMPACT 網上 研討會。工總副主席莊子雄與多位科技及業界 專家一同討論如何在新常態下,服務熟悉科技 的新一代消費 ; • 2020 年 11 月 ─ 竹業委員會主席譚天放獲國 際竹藤組織邀請,在網上研討會上分享 21 世 紀的竹子應用發展 ; • 2021 年 2 月 ─ 教育委員會率領多名工總代表 參觀城大化學系實驗室,了解學界科研最新發 展及成果 ; • 2021 年 3 月 ─ 青年委員會與中華廠商聯合會 青年委員會合 「掌握數碼攻略尋商機」網絡 研討會,分享企業如何運用創新科技商業方案 以改革現有 運模式,及分享電商市場的商機 及跨境商務的 銷策略。 • November 2020 - Members of the Innovation and Technology Development Committee attended the virtual IMPACT Conference held by the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute. FHKI Deputy Chairman Mr Steve Chuang, alongside various technology and industry experts, shared their views on how to engage the new generation of technology-empowered consumers under the new normal; • November 2020 - Mr Martin Tam, Chairman of the Bamboo Industry Committee, was invited to share his insight on bamboo applications in the 21 st century at a webinar organised by the International Bamboo and Rattan Organisation; • February 2021 - The Education Committee organised a lab visit to the Department of Chemistry, CityU for FHKI members to understand their latest scientific research achievements; • March 2021 - The Young Executive Council and YCMA jointly organised the "Digital Transformation Strategy" webinar. Guest speakers were invited to share the insights on how up-to-date IT solutions could be applied to improve business operation, as well as the strategies in developing e-commerce and cross-border markets. 2020 年對香 各行各業而言 是充滿挑戰的一 年。無論是個人生活、教學或工商業活動, 受 到疫情影 。儘管如此,工總及轄下委員會仍竭 力為業界尋求機遇,透過舉辦一系列網上研討會 及其他多元化活動,與政府部門、科研機構和學 界保持緊密合作,推動工業發展。 連繫官產學研 推動工業創新 工總致力推動工業創新,糅合創新科技與傳統工 業,為香 經濟開拓新的增長點,並且創造優質 和多元的就業機會。工總在年內舉辦各類型研討 會、參觀大學實驗室等,讓會員接觸和了解更多 前沿科研、投資動向及政策發展,促進跨界合作。 • 2020 年 6 月 — 青年委員會舉辦「 5G 大時代及 技術資助計劃」網絡研討會,邀請到政府部門 代表及專家為會員介紹政府第二輪「防疫抗疫 基金」推出的「鼓勵及早使用 5G 技術資助計劃」 詳情,分享 5G 技術對工業帶來的新機遇; • 2020 年 9 月 — 教育委員會出席香 理工大 學網絡研討會,與學界探討本 再工業化的 進程; 2020 was a challenging year for all sectors in Hong Kong. From daily living, teaching to industrial and commercial activities, our community were profoundly disrupted by the pandemic. Despite the adversities, FHKI and its committees are devoted to taking every opportunity to help the industry strive forward in this challenging time. We organised a series of webinars and diverse activities to maintain close collaborations with government departments, research institutions and academia. Gathering Cross-Sectoral Efforts to Promote Industrial Innovation FHKI encourages our members to pursue industrial innovation by converging new technology and traditional industries, thereby creating new growth points for the Hong Kong economy and generating quality employment opportunities in various disciplines. Throughout the year, FHKI took initiatives to organise seminars and lab visits to universities, where our members can stay abreast of the latest technological advancement, investment trends and policy developments for harnessing cross-sectoral collaboration opportunities. • June 2020 - The Young Executive Council organised the webinar on "The Era of 5G and the Subsidy Scheme". Government representative and experts were invited to introduce the "Subsidy Scheme for Encouraging Early Deployment of 5G" under the second round of Anti-epidemic Fund, as well as the business opportunities and benefits brought by 5G technology deployment. • September 2020 - Members of the Education Committee attended the webinar organised by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University to discuss the latest development of local re-industrialisation with academia;
