In October 2013, Dr Ng Chi-ho and Steve Chuang led a 40-member delegation to visit TDK Dongguan factories, including Dongguan Amperex Technology Ltd which is an international company leading in R&D, manufacture, sales and marketing of rechargeable lithium ion/polymer battery cells and related battery packs and systems; and SAE Magnetics (HK) Ltd which produces WiFi Module for mobile phones. In another visit to the Standards and Calibration Laboratory of the Innovation and Technology Commission held in January 2014, Dr Ng, Mr Chuang and participating members learned more about calibration services and advanced facilities available at the Laboratory which may be of use by members. 第5分組 – 香港電子業總會 在本會主席吳自豪博士和副主席 莊子雄領導下，香港電子業總會周年 晚宴於2013年4月香港春季電子產 品展的開幕日舉行，逾160名業界嘉 賓出席，立法會議員盧偉國博士應邀 主禮，曾淵滄博士則擔任嘉賓講者。 在電子展期間舉行的另一項活動是 「智能裝置的趨勢及技術」研討會。該 活動由工總、香港電子業總會、香港 貿易發展局、香港電子業商會及香港 電子科技商會合辦，來自業界、學術 界及研究機構的三位嘉賓講者與逾 百名業界人士討論智能裝置的最新 發展。 吳自豪博士及莊子雄於2013年10月 率領40人代表團參觀TDK東莞廠房， 包括國際企業東莞新能源科技有限公 司和生產智能手機Wifi模組的新科實 業有限公司。新能源科技在可充式鋰 離子電池的電芯、封裝和系統整合的 研發、生產和市場營銷方面，居世界 領先地位。 此外，吳自豪博士、莊子雄及多名會 員於2014年1月到訪創新科技署轄 下的標準及校正實驗所，認識該實驗 所提供的測量校正服務及先進儀器， 讓有需要的會員考慮使用其服務。 Group 6 – Energy and Power The Group and the CLP Power Hong Kong Ltd (CLP) co-organised an environmental mission in November 2013 to the Dongguan factory of Karrie International Holdings Ltd (Karrie). Karrie is one of the companies which adopted energy efficiency solutions provided by the CLP.
