45 香港工業總會年報 2013-14 Group 4 – Electrical and Optical Products Led by the then Group Chairman Leung Kwong-chuen and the then Group Vice- Chairman Dr Daniel Yip, a total of 24 participants made a trip in April 2013 to the Shenzhen branch of Googol Technology (HK) Ltd at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s Research Institute in Shenzhen High-Tech Zone to learn more about developments in industrial automation, which will help industrial upgrading. Another event on the hot topic of automation was held in January 2014. Group 4 and Group 14 (Hong Kong Mould & Die Council) co-organised a seminar on automation covering solutions such as automation primer, optical recognition and robot arms etc. Videos were shown to demonstrate successful cases of automation solutions designed and manufactured by the United States of America and Hong Kong. In February 2014, FHKI Deputy Chairman cum current Chairman of the Group Dr Daniel Yip presided over a luncheon on “e-Commerce Platforms and Online Trading in Mainland Experience Sharing” with Paul So of Group 22 (Hong Kong Watch & Clock Council) as guest speaker. Mr So talked about the latest developments of online trading in the Mainland and his experience in using e-Commerce platforms. In January 2014, the Group organised a sharing session on coffee culture using coffee machines produced by our members. 第4分組 – 電氣及光學製品 時任分組主席梁廣泉及時任副主席 葉中賢博士率領24名會員，於 2013年4月到深圳高新技術產業開發 區，參觀固高科技（香港）有限公司 設於開發區的香港科技大學產學研大 樓，探討工業自動化的發展，以助廠 商提升技術水平。 另一項有關自動化這個熱門課題的活 動，是由本分組及第14分組（香港模 具協會）於2014年1月合辦的自動化 研討會，介紹自動化的入門方案、光 學識別與機器臂等解決方案；同場播 放由美國及香港設計和製造的自動化 方案成功案例的影片。 工總副主席兼現任分組主席葉中賢博士 同年2月主持午餐會，第22分組 （香港鐘表工業協會）主席蘇永強應邀 擔任講者，談論內銷網購市場的新發 展，以及其使用網購平台的經驗。 本分組於2014年1月舉辦咖啡文化 分享會，使用會員提供的咖啡機沖煮 咖啡。 Group 5 – Hong Kong Electronics Industry Council (HKEIC) Under the leadership of HKEIC Chairman Dr Ng Chi-ho and Vice-Chairman Steve Chuang, HKEIC’s Annual Dinner was held in April 2013 on the first day of Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) with Legislative Councillor Ir Dr Hon Lo Wai- kwok as guest of honour and Dr Chan Yan-chong as guest speaker. The dinner was well attended by over 160 guests. A seminar on Trends and Technologies of Smart Devices, jointly organised by the FHKI, HKEIC, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association and Hong Kong Electronics & Technologies Association, was also held at the margins of the Electronics Fair.
