44 FHKI Annual Report 2013-14 Group 2 – Building Materials In September 2013, the Group organised a cross-group dinner with Group 8 (Food & Beverages) and Group 26 (Environmental Industries) to facilitate networking among members. At the event, FHKI Deputy Chairman cum Chairman of Group 26 Ir Daniel Cheng gave a sharing on “Hong Kong - towards a Sustainable City and Life Style”. Group Chairman Allan So, Vice- Chairman Andy Kong and Executive Committee members paid regular visits to members to enhance communication. This provided a platform for the leadership of the Group to have a better understanding of the needs and expectations of members so as to improve our services. Mr So also met with Executive Committee members regularly to discuss the latest developments and prospects of the building materials industry. Group 1 – Chemical &Pharmaceutical Industries Council According to the Chinese Medicine Ordinance which was passed by the Legislative Council in 1999, all kinds of proprietary Chinese medicines (pCms) must first be registered with the Chinese Medicines Board before they can be imported, manufactured and sold in Hong Kong. Although the registration system has been implemented for years, companies still encounter many difficulties in the registration process. In view of this, FHKI Deputy Chairman cum Group Chairman Jimmy Kwok, Group Vice-Chairman Joseph Lau and FHKI’s Legislative Council representative the Hon Andrew Leung held a meeting with Under Secretary for Food and Health Professor Sophia Chan in December 2013 to discuss the matter. 第1分組 – 化工及藥業協會 根據立法會於1999年通過的《中醫藥 條例》，所有中成藥必須經中藥組註 冊，才可進口到香港及在本地製造 和銷售。有關制度雖然實行多年， 企業申請註冊時仍遇到不少困難。有 見及此，工總副主席兼本分組主席 郭振華、分組副主席劉文煒及工總 立法會代表梁君彥議員於2013年12月 與食物及衞生局副局長陳肇始教授舉 行會議，討論有關課題。 Industry Groups And Councils 工業分組及協會 第2分組 – 建築物料 2013年9月，本分組與第8分組（食 品、飲品及煙草）和第26分組（環保 工業）合辦聯組晚宴，工總副主席 兼第26分組主席鄭文聰在晚宴上就 「香港 – 邁向可持續發展的城市及生 活模式」發言。 分組主席蘇達虹、副主席江錦宏和執 委會委員定期探訪會員，期望藉此讓 領導層進一步了解會員的需要及期 望，以提升分組的服務質素。蘇達虹 亦與執委會定期會面，討論建築物料 行業的最新發展及未來展望。 Group 3 – Dyeing and Finishing Group Chairman Jackie Ng attended the FHKI General Committee’s dinner gathering with Chief Executive C Y Leung in February 2014, during which Mr Leung outlined his initiatives in the Policy Address. 第3分組 – 染色及整理 2014年2月，分組主席吳慧君參與 工總理事會晚宴，聆聽行政長官 梁振英介紹施政報告中的措施。
