40 FHKI Annual Report 2013-14 長江製衣有限公司主席及YGM貿易公司榮譽主席陳瑞球 博士獲頒2013傑出工業家獎，以表揚他對香港工業和社 群作出的超卓貢獻。 2013年獎項的贊助機構分別為中國銀行（香港）有限公 司、香港科技園公司、香港青年工業家協會、香港上海 滙豐銀行有限公司、上海商業銀行有限公司；以及獎座 贊助機構榮昌國際（集團）有限公司的品牌AQUEEN。 在頒獎禮後，工總舉辦兩次考察團和一次座談會，讓 香港青年工業家獎得主與會員分享成功之道，並就業務 發展、廠房營運及建立品牌等事宜交流意見。 「香港工商業獎 ─ 消費產品設計類別」 香港工商業獎被公認為香港同類型評選的最高殊榮獎 項。該獎設有六個組別，其中之一是工總轄下的香港 設計委員會主辦的「香港工商業獎 ─ 消費產品設計獎」。 2013年參加消費產品設計組別的作品共62件，所有參賽 作品均顯示高水平的設計及創意。最終評審委員會來自 設計、工業、檢測等行業，委員會主席是香港科技大學 校長陳繁昌教授。頒獎典禮於10月舉行。 The 2013 IOY Award went to Dr Chan Sui-kau, Chairman of Yangtzekiang Garment Ltd and Honorary Chairman of YGM Trading Ltd, in recognition of his exceptional contribution to Hong Kong’s industries and economy. The 2013 awards were jointly sponsored by Bank of China (Hong Kong), Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council, The Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd and Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. The trophy sponsor was AQUEEN, the brand of WCJ (Holdings) Co Ltd. Following the presentation ceremony, the FHKI organised two missions and a seminar, inviting the YIAH awardees to share experience and exchange views on business development, plant operation and brand building with members. Hong Kong Awards for Industries – Consumer Product Design Category The Hong Kong Awards for Industries (HKAI) are considered to be the most prestigious competition of its kind in Hong Kong. The Awards consist of six award categories, including the Consumer Product Design Award organised by the Design Council of Hong Kong under the auspices of the FHKI. A total of 62 entries were received for the Consumer Product Design Category in 2013 and all showed high standards of product design and innovation. President of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Professor Tony Chan chaired the final judging panel, which also comprised experts from design, industrial and testing sectors. The Award Presentation Ceremony was held in October.
