November 2020 - The Council Chairman Mr Benny Do, together with the representatives from other jewellery trade associations, met with Mr Willy Lin, Chairman of Hong Kong Productivity Council, to exchange views on the jewellery sector's needs in technology and industry support in pursuit of business upgrade and transformation. Hong Kong Furniture Council Eighteen member companies from the Council participated in the "Summer Sourcing Week & Summer Virtual Expo" from 27 July to 7 August 2020, organised by HKTDC, which opened up new business opportunities for the industry during the pandemic. October 2020 - the Council held an online meeting with Dr Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, to consult the details of the Hong Kong Government's Anti-epidemic Fund and the Convention and Exhibition Industry Subsidy Scheme. Furthermore, Dr Chan and members exchanged views on the market trend for designs and furniture brands. March 2021 - In the ExCom meeting, the Council invited Architect Mr Edmond Wong to share his architectural projects and innovative furniture designs with the members. Chairman Mr Bernie Ting and Vice-Chairman Mr Eric Sun from Hong Kong Q-mark Council also attended the meeting and introduced the Hong Kong Q-Mark Service (Cyan) Scheme. 香港珠寶首飾業協會 協會致力推動香 珠寶業再工業化，同時藉「一 帶一路」及粵 澳大灣區的機遇，進一步發展珠 寶首飾業。 2020 年 11 月 — 協會主席杜源寧及其他珠寶業界 商會代表與香 生產力促進局主席林宣武會面， 交流業界在升級轉型上的科技及工業支援需要。 香港家具協會 協會組織 18 間會員公司的名義，參加香 貿發局 於 2020 年 7 月 27 日至 8 月 7 日舉辦的「夏季網上 採購展」，為業界於疫情期間開創新商機。 2020 年 10 月 — 與商務及經濟發展局陳百里副局 長進行線上會議，諮詢政府抗疫基金、會議展覽 業資助計劃等細節資料，及討論未來拓展設計品 牌及傢俬品牌市場的趨勢。 2021 年 3 月 — 在執委會會議上邀請到建築師黃 澤源先生，分享他的個人特色建築項目及嶄新家 具設計，為大家帶來了許多創新的意念。香 優 質標誌局丁煒章主席和孫榮聰副主席亦有出席會 議，向家具協會會員介紹「香 Q 嘜優質服務（藍 金）計劃」。 HIGHLIGHTS OF INDUSTRY GROUPS AND COUNCILS 工業分組及協會工作概要 香 工業總會年報 2020-21 Hong Kong Mould and Die Council Hong Kong Mould and Die Council facilitates the interactions between members in the industry and acts as a channel to voice the industry's need to the Government. April to August 2020 - A series of "Knowledge Sharing" webinars were held encompassing a variety of topics, including tactics on utilising the Government's subsidies to reduce operation costs, CAD technologies and applications, automated moulding manufacturing system, latest surface-finishing technologies and remote business management. July 2020 - The "Tool Maker of the Year Award 2020" was held with online judging for the first time. This award aimed to recognise passionate professional toolmakers who are committed to contributing to the industry at large. November 2020 - The members' dinner banquet was held at Chang'an International Hotel with over 80 participants. "Tool Maker of the Year Awards 2020" was also presented during the dinner. The Council's ExCom members also shared the story of plastic mould "Huo Shen Yi Hao", which was the best demonstration of how the Council worked together to overcome adversity at the early stage of pandemic. 香港模具協會 協會一直致力促進本 模具業界的交流，並向政 府反映行業的需要。 2020 年 4 月至 8 月 — 舉辦一系列「知識在線」網 絡研討會。內容 羅各個範疇：善用政府資助降 低企業成本、 CAD 技術及應用、模具智能製造系 統、最新表面處理技術及遙距管理跨境業務等。 2020 年 7 月 — 舉辦「傑出模具從業員獎 2020 」， 首次以網絡平台進行評審，嘉許及鼓勵行業內對 工作富熱忱、擁有豐富專業知識，並致力推動行 業發展的傑出從業員。 2020 年 11 月 — 於東莞市長安國際酒店舉辦會員 晚宴，逾 80 位會員聚首一堂。同場舉行「傑出從 業員頒獎禮 2020 」，頒發獎狀予優秀從業員；當晚 執委會成員更與來賓分享疫情初期協會企業同心 合力趕製塑膠支架模具「火神一號」一事。 Hong Kong Plastics Industry Council The Council is committed to promoting the development of the plastic industry and provided support to members in product innovation and technological solution improvement. May 2020 - the Council had a lunch meeting where the Chairman and ExCom members exchanged on industry news and discussed the "Distinguished Achievement Award and Life Achievement Award 2020" to honour outstanding industrialists for their contribution to the local plastic industry. 香港塑膠業協會 協會致力促進塑膠業界的發展，支持會員提升產 品創新和技術能力。 2020 年 5 月 — 舉辦午餐聚會，主席與執委會成員 交流最新行業狀況，並商討「 2020 年度終身成就 獎及卓越 運獎」的得獎名單，表揚多年來為塑 膠行業貢獻良多的工業家。
