52 FHKI Annual Report 2013-14 Group 16 – Printing and book binding and paper products Led by Chairman Conrad So and Vice- Chairman Peter Tse, the Group continued to spare efforts in helping members to upgrade their operations. It was one of the supporting organisations for the ICC Color Symposium, which was organised by the Hong Kong Printers Association in November 2013 with financial support of the SME Development Fund. Renowned overseas experts were invited to give their insights on the latest trend in color management and its applications in different areas. 第16分組 – 印刷、書籍釘裝及紙製品 本分組在主席蘇華森及副主席謝葆德的領導下，致力協助 會員提升專業水平。他們是國際性的ICC色彩管理研討會 的其中一個支持機構，該活動由香港印刷業商會於2013 年11月舉辦，獲中小企業發展支援基金的財政支援，邀 請頂尖外地專家講解色彩管理的最新趨勢，以及在不同範 疇的應用。 Group 15 – Hong Kong Plastics Industry Council (HKPIC) The HKPIC, under the leadership of its Chairman Daniel Wong and Vice-Chairman Eric Sun, launched two major events during the year among other activities. In November 2013, the HKPIC collaborated with the Hong Kong Plastics Manufacturers Association to launch Plastic Conference 2013, the theme of which was “Innovative 3D Printing Technology – From Design to Manufacturing”. Six guest speakers from Japan, Taiwan, Israel and Hong Kong shared their insights relating to industrial design and manufacturing processes which would benefit from 3D printing. In December 2013, the HKPIC organised a joint dinner with Group 14 (Hong Kong Mould & Die Council), with Secretary for Labour and Welfare Matthew Cheung as the guest of honour. Over 300 guests joined the dinner gathering. Group 17 – Spinning Group Chairman Woo Pat-nie co-hosted a seminar with the Sustainable Fashion Business Consortium in September 2013 to discuss the possibility of eliminating the use of hazardous chemicals and how best to achieve zero discharge in production. The prospects of the apparel and textile-related industries in Hong Kong were also discussed. 第17分組 – 紡紗 分組主席吳柏年與時裝企業持續發展聯盟於2013年9月 合辦研討會，探討在生產過程中減少使用危險化學品的 可行性，以及如何有效達致零排放，並與會員交流香港 紡織及成衣業的前景。 第15分組 – 香港塑膠業協會 過去一年本協會在主席黃可嘉及副主 席孫榮聰的帶領下，舉辦多項活動包 括下列兩項大型活動。 協會11月與香港塑膠業廠商會合辦 2013年塑膠技術研討會，以「創新 3D打印技術 ─ 從設計到製造」為 主題，安排六位來自日本、台灣、 以色列及香港的專家，向會員介紹 3D打印技術對工業設計及製造過程 的效益。 同年12月協會與第14分組（香港模 具協會）舉辦聯合晚宴，並邀請勞工 及福利局局長張建宗為主禮嘉賓，超 過300名賓客出席。 Industry Groups And Councils 工業分組及協會
