34 FHKI Annual Report 2013-14 Facilitating Business Networking 加強商務聯繫 Fostering Communication A wide variety of events and programmes have been organised to better serve the needs of members, facilitate business networking and strengthen friendship. In the past year, the FHKI held 122 seminars and workshops, over 160 training courses, 38 visits to factories and government departments and 48 luncheons, cocktails, dinners and network gatherings. We also received 42 delegations from around the world, arranged 16 outgoing missions, participated in 19 exhibitions and 59 symposia, and organised various leisure and social events such as golf tournaments and outings. The FHKI continued to disseminate business information through its website (www.industryhk.org ), circulars, weekly newsletters and the monthly magazine Hong Kong Industrialist &PRD Industrialist , keeping our members and partners abreast of the latest developments on matters affecting Hong Kong industries. In addition, a Members’ Directory was published for the reference of members as well as local and overseas buyers.
