INNOVATIVE SCIENCE TO FUEL GREEN TRANSFORMATION OF CHEMICAL INDUSTRY 應用科研創新 助化工業環保轉型 Chemical industry has a long history in manufacturing sector. Chemical products are widely used in agriculture, manufacturing, medicines and daily necessities. For five decades, Yip's Chemical Holdings Limited (“Yip’s Chemical”) has never stopped the pace of innovation and creativity. Under Francis’ leadership, Yip’s Chemical partnered with local universities and emerged applications of biotechnology in the production of chemical products. As the community has growing concern of the health implications and environmental impact brought by chemical products, the chemical industry invests heavily in scientific research and product improvement in order to maintain market competitiveness. Francis said, “Our major products include solvents, coatings, inks and lubricants. Although not all products are sold directly to end consumers, they are used in food packaging, home walls and touch on every part of people’s lives. To gain customers’ support and trust, we need to leverage the entire chemical ecosystem and develop more healthy and environmentally-friendly products.” Yip's Chemical has always attached great focus on scientific research and innovation.
