The intelligent production line leverages on artificial intelligent vision to guide robotic maneuvering. Well-connected with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), the entire production line collects real-time data relating to production, product quality and facilities to monitor the performance of the production system. Compared with the legacy labour-intensive manufacturing method, NiRoTech’s intelligent production line is now more environmentally- friendly. Geared up with increased agility, the production line can now manufacture six different types of smart security products. Eligible manufacturers planning to set up new smart production lines in Hong Kong can now apply for the Reindustrialisation Funding Scheme (RFS) under the Innovation Technology Fund (ITF) of the HKSAR Government for financial support. The Government provides funding on a 1 (Government): 2 (company) matching basis. The funding ceiling is one-third of the total project cost or HK$15 million, whichever is lower.
