In terms of environmental protection and occupational health, they have launched the remedial work at production plants to minimise noise pollution. Also, they have improved the mobile dust collection technology on cement packaging trucks to reduce the emission of particulate matters in the production process so as to ensure the emission level is up to standard. In terms of sustainable development, CR Cement has introduced the advanced technology from Europe in co-processing of municipal solid waste, urban sludge and hazardous industrial waste. “Compared to traditional landfilling, co-processing of solid waste by using cement kilns can substantially save land resources and eliminate poisonous pollutants such as dioxin. This is due to the effective use of heat inside the cement kilns, thereby achieving “hazard free, mass-reducing and recyclable” processing, and create a healthier living environment for local residents,” says Elaine.
