The Competition is the first eco-friendly showerhead design competition in Hong Kong, which aims to promote the popularity of water-saving appliances and the importance of water conservation to the public, as well as encourage the young generation to inspire their creativities and arouse interests in product design, through a variety of innovative water-saving showerhead works. The design concept and theme of the Competition are “eco-friendly” and “innovative”. The entries should integrate “eco-friendly” elements and features in their designs, which can effectively reduce water and energy consumption. Meanwhile, the “innovative” criterion focuses on diversifying and optimising both appearances and functions of showerheads with thinking out of the box.
