T he Committee on Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR Committee) under the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) held the Industry Cares Recognition Scheme 2020 earlier. The Scheme attracted 106 companies to participate and granted six awards respectively under the Enterprise Group and SME Group. The Secretary for Labour and Welfare Dr Law Chi-kwong attended the ceremony as the Guest-of-Honour and presented Grand Caring Awards to Laws Fashion Group Limited and HK DECOMAN TECHNOLOGY Limited. FHKI Chairman Dr Daniel Yip said, “In spite of the epidemic, the number of participating companies this year is about the same as previous years, which is encouraging and embodying the spirits of loving and caring among Hong Kong people.” CSR Committee Chairman Alan Cheung hoped that more companies can carry forward the spirits of CSR and make contributions to the society. Meanwhile, as the Caring Partner of Scheme for two consecutive years, China Construction Bank (Asia) has been collaborating with FHKI to build a caring society together.
