Lionel had marked out well over 1 million square metres in Germany and the US in this short space of time. For the German market, the company has also established partnerships with international exhibition logistics supplier DB Schenker for logistics assistance and industry advice as well as Neumann & Mueller Veranstaltungstechnik for operations. A Sophisticated Disinfection Solution I n re s pon s e t o t h e h e i gh t e n e d t h e hygiene and disinfection requirements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, August Robotics undertook development of a disinfection robot. The robot leverages targeted disinfection, shielding, spatial awareness, and smart path planning algorithms to enable hospital grade UV-C disinfection in a collaborative working environment. Additionally, the shielding can be used to focus the light energy and increase the overall efficiency of the disinfection process. Using this disinfection robot, customers will be able to satisfy the highest disinfection and hygiene standards without jeopardising their finely tuned processes or incurring a prohibitively high cost. Using Hong Kong as a Global Launchpad Hong Kong has been chosen as the headquar ters for August Robotics, to steer research and development (R&D) of hardware, software and artificial intelligence. 32 | 10-12/2020
