66 FHKI Annual Report 2014-15 Group 26: Environmental Industry In January 2015, the Group together with Group 6 (Energy & Power) co-organised a visit to a 30,000-square-foot hydroponic farm located at River Beas in Sheung Shui to inspect the use of renewable energy on the ground. Members were impressed by the operations of the farm, which is a participant of GREEN PLUS Programme. The Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition was held in March 2015 to promote solutions for a low carbon future and stimulate growth in various environmental sectors. The Group and Hong Kong Environmental Industry Association set up booths for 16 members to showcase their products, technology and services to potential clients in the Pan PRD region and the international markets. Secretary for the Environment Wong Kam-sing, accompanied by FHKI Deputy Chairman cum Group Chairman Daniel Cheng and Group Vice-Chairman Luther Wong, paid a visit to members’ booths to render them support. In March 2015, the Group organised a casual luncheon to exchange views on Mainland’s new Environmental Protection Law. Group Vice-Chairman Luther Wong highlighted a number of key additions and updates to the Law which would affect local businesses and discussed possible solutions with members. Industry Groups And Councils 工業分組及協會 第二十五分組：香港資訊科技業協會 協會於2014年8月舉辦「利用大數據優化新一代營銷計劃」研討會，為會 員提供大數據的分析及應用方面的最新資訊，並以實例講解各新興和傳 統行業如何利用大數據取得消費者的行為資訊進行相關分析及分類，以 優化營銷管理及增加收入。研討會亦提供溝通平台，促進會員間的聯繫。 數碼貨幣和電子付款應用日趨普遍，但仍未及得上電子商貿的急速發展及 全面。一如其他新興科技，新電子支付模式當中存在風險，尤其是在這 個大部分缺乏規範的電子空間，是值得公眾關 注。在協會主席簡堅良及副主席夏淑玲的領導 下，協會於2015年3月舉辦「電子貨幣與電子 商貿的發展」研討會，分享相關的熱門話題， 例如比特幣對客戶的風險（如2015年初發生的 MyCoin事件），以及電子貨幣未來的 發展。　 2015年3月初，協會主席簡堅良與剛獲委任為 行政長官創新及科技顧問的楊偉雄會面，並邀 請他於4月份與協會會員及執行委員會面，就 如何在創新科技上更有效利用現有的政府及業 界的資源交換意見。
