65 香港工業總會年報 2014-15 第二十二分組：香港鐘表工業協會 珠三角現時的經營環境與香港工業於80年代初遷 移到該地區時比較，己有重大改變。廠商現時面對 龐大的成本和其他營運壓力。 協會在主席蘇永強及副主席葉小帆的領導下，去 年舉行多次會議，就重慶墊江縣作為香港鐘表工 業轉移地的可行性進行討論。另外，葉小帆副主 席於2014年10月出席工總《珠三角製造：香港 工業未來的出路》的鐘錶行業焦點小組會議，反 映鐘表業界於珠三角經營的現況。 協會亦致力協助會員發掘轉型及拓展內地市場的 商機，主席蘇永強於2014年12月派出屬下的電 貿專家出席「以網購開拓內銷導航計劃」商貿配對 會及交流會作為演講嘉賓，推動本地鐘表品牌透 過電子商貿平台進軍內銷市場。 Group 25: Hong Kong Information Technology Industry Council (HKITIC) The Council organised a seminar entitled “Leveraging Big Data to Enhance Next- generation e-Commerce” in August 2014 to provide latest updates on big data analytics and applications. The seminar demonstrated how big data can help different industries, new or traditional, transform themselves by capturing and utilising customer behavior information to analyse and segmentise customers for better management of sales and revenue growth. The event also provided a good opportunity for members to network and establish business contacts. Digital currencies and electronic payments are gaining wider acceptance and application, but they still fall short of the rapid pace of development of e-commerce across the board. As in any emerging technology, new modes of cyber payments are subject to risks, especially in the largely unregulated space, and are a matter of public concern. Under the leadership of Council Chairman Leo Kan and Vice-Chairlady Shirley Ha, the Council organised a seminar on “Digital Currencies and Future of e-Commerce” in March 2015, which covered hot topics like Bitcoin, risks to consumers such as the MyCoin pyramid scheme incident in early 2015, and the future of digital currencies. In early March, Chairman Leo Kan met with Mr Nick Yang, the newly appointed Innovation and Technology Advisor to the Chief Executive, and subsequently invited Mr Yang to meet with fellow Council and Excom members in April to exchange views of the industry, and to explore how to better leverage and use existing Government and industry resources to execute good ideas on innovation and technology.
