59 香港工業總會年報 2014-15 Group 15: Hong Kong Plastics Industry Council (HKPIC) In response to members’ interest in the latest technological advancement to assist in business transformation, HKPIC Chairman Daniel Wong and Vice-Chairman Eric Sun led a group of 20 members to visit the Industrial Centre of Hong Kong Polytechnic University in May 2014. They were shown state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. In July, HKPIC Chairman Daniel Wong led members to visit the Hong Kong Aero Engine Service Limited (HAESL). Members were briefed on different aspects of HAESL’s operations, including engine overhaul, component repair, test cell and staff training. They also exchanged views with HAESL representatives on business operations and corporate management. In September, the HKPIC and the Hong Kong Plastics Manufacturers’ Association co-organised the Plastics Conference 2014, during which a panel of world-renowned experts shared their insights on latest plastics related technology and applications. In November, the HKPIC and the HKMDC jointly organised the 25th anniversary dinner which has been reported on page 57. 第15分組：香港塑膠業協會 為讓會員掌握業內科技的最新趨勢，藉以升級轉 型和發掘商機，協會主席黃可嘉及副主席孫榮聰， 於2014年5月率領20名會員參觀香港理工大學工 業中心，了解高端的工業生產技術及設備。 協會主席黃可嘉於7月率領會員參觀香港航空發 動機維修服務有限公司（HAESL），會員除了參觀 發動機維修、替換零部件、發動機測試台外，也 與HAESL代表交流企業營運及管理心得。 去年9月，香港塑膠業協會與香港塑膠業廠商會 合辦2014塑膠技術研討會，邀請一眾國際專家與 業界分享最新的塑膠技術及應用。 協會與香港模具協會於去年11月聯合舉行25周 年晚宴，在58頁已作介紹。 Group 16: Printing and book binding and paper products To strengthen exchanges amongst members, the Group jointly organised a one-day factory visit with the Hong Kong Printers Association in June 2014. Led by Group Chairman Conrad So and Vice-Chairman Peter Tse, over 60 industry players visited Dongguan New Island Printing Co Ltd, China Translation & Printing Services Ltd, Dongguan and Sheck Wah Tong Dongguan factory. Members had a good exchange of views on advanced factory facilities, business operations as well as factory management. 第十六分組：印刷、書籍釘裝及紙製品 為了加強同業之間的交流，分組與香港印刷業商會於2014年 6月合辦「香港印刷界東莞考察團」，超過60位印刷同業踴躍 參與，反應熱烈。豐富的行程除了參觀東莞新洲印刷有限公 司、東莞大朗中編印刷廠及東莞石華堂紙品印刷廠外，會員 亦就各廠房的先進設備、管理系統及營運模式交流意見。
