56 FHKI Annual Report 2014-15 Industry Groups And Councils 工業分組及協會 Group 11: Jewellery including handicraft items of jade and ivory In October 2014, Group Chairman Sunny Chan attended the focus group session in relation to the “Made in PRD Study IV” to look into the operational conditions of Hong Kong jewellery manufacturing enterprises in the PRD region, so as to gain a better understanding on the challenges they are facing since the 2008 financial crisis, and with a view to formulating future directions for the development of the sector. 第十一分組：首飾包括玉石與象牙製手工藝品 分組主席陳祖成於2014年10月出席工總《珠三角製造研究系列（四）： 香港工業未來的出路》有關珠寶行業的焦點小組會議，了解珠三角珠寶業 港商最新的經營狀況、反映珠寶業界自08年以來於珠三角經營情況的變 化，及討論未來的發展方向，從而窺探本港珠寶業的出路。 Group 10: Wood products and furniture, fixtures and interior decorations, including steel, rattan and wood furniture In May 2014, the Group and Hong Kong Furniture & Decoration Trade Association co-orgainised a seminar on “Opportunities and Challenges of Furniture Industry”. Hong Kong manufacturers were briefed on how best to respond to China’s Air Pollution Prevention Action Plan and relevant international regulations, latest standards on indoor furniture and how 3D design and printing could enhance productivity. To enhance communication amongst members, Group Chairman Eric Yim, Vice-Chairman Karen Chan and Executive Committee members visited Group members on a regular basis so as to better understand the needs and expectations of members with a view to improving services to members. 第十分組：木製品及家具、固定裝置與室內裝飾用品，包括 鋼、藤與木製家具 2014年5月，分組與香港傢俬裝飾廠商總會合辦「傢具業發展 機遇與挑戰」研討會。會上，講者與會員分享內地最新的《大氣 污染防治行動計劃》、室內傢具的國際標準及條例，以及三維設 計及打印技術如何提高生產效率等議題。 為加強分組會員之間的溝通，分組主席嚴志明、副主席馮陳嘉 賢和執委會委員定期到會員公司拜訪，藉此了解會員的需要及 期望，以提升對會員的服務。
